Leading banks ranked by return on equity (ROE) in Turkey 2022
The German-owned bank, Deutsche Bank A.Ş. recorded the highest average return on equity among all banks operating in Turkey, with 59.4 percent in 2022. ICBC Turkey Bank A.Ş. ranked second, with 58.3 percent ROE. The privately owned Türk Ekonomi Bankası A.Ş. occupied the third place, registering a 54.3 percent return on equity.
