Number ambulance patients heat stroke fatalities Japan summer 2013-2022
From May to September 2022, 80 people who were taken to the hospital by an ambulance due to heat strokes died, indicating no change compared to the previous year. Within the surveyed period, the highest number of 160 heatstroke fatalities was recorded in the summer of 2018.
