This statistic displays the percentage change of the spirits sales value in Belgium between 2015 and 2017, by type. The strongest growth was visible in the gin segment, which increased by roughly 33 percent in this period. The sales of rum also grew, by 5.5 percent. On the other hand, the sales of whiskey decreased by 12.5 percent in the same period. Despite this, with an estimated sales value of 105 million euros in 2017, whiskey remained the most popular spirit in Belgium.
