TV advertising revenue of Rai's general-interest channels 2019-2021, by type
Rai's TV license fee revenue increased by five percent in 2021.
In 2021, the advertising revenue of general-interest channels of Italy's national public broadcasting company Rai − Radiotelevisione Italiana S.p.A. amounted to 569 million euros. That was 11.5 percent higher than the result reported in 2019, before the pandemic. Of the 2021 figure, 352.1 million euros (or 62 percent) came from commercials.
