Volkswagen car sales in Austria 2010-2021
Austrian registrations of new Volkswagen cars peaked at approximately 65,150 units in 2011, followed by decreasing sales in the subsequent years. Sales increased once more from 2016 to 2017, however began falling in the following years before drastically decreasing with the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, reaching a decade low of just under 36,000 cars registered in 2021.
