Considering responses from 5,000 global consumers, a survey from early 2020 found that the openness to engage with social ads increased across all considered countries due to the coronavirus pandemic. The highest number of respondents stating that their openness had increased was India with 92 percent. On the other hand, only 33 percent of respondents from the Netherlands said that the coronavirus pandemic had made them more open to engage with ads on social media.
