In 2019, the number of beds in Belgium's general hospitals varied by province. Indeed, with roughly 674 beds for 100.000 people, Brussels-Capital registered the highest number of beds in Belgium. On the other hand, the province of Walloon Brabant had the lowest amount of general hospital beds in the country. Note that figures provided touch all of Belgium's 104 general hospitals, both public as well as private.
