Brazil: planted agricultural area 2022, by state

In 2022, Mato Grosso was the Brazilian state with the largest planted area for agricultural production, amounting to more than 19 million hectares. This represented over one fifth of the planted area for agricultural production in Brazil. Paraná ranked second, with around 11.5 million hectares planted with permanent and temporary crops.
