Rakuten Insight, as of July 2021, 52 percent of female respondents in Singapore who used Korean beauty products, said that they used the products because the products were better suited for their skin. Korean beauty products, also known as K-beauty, has gained in popularity and market share over the years, especially in Asia. K-beauty products were perceived by Asian customers to better meet their skincare needs.
In a survey on skincare and beauty products conducted by
