Nuclear electricity generation in Belgium 1970-2022
Between 1970 and 2000, the generation of electricity from nuclear power in Belgium increased significantly, rising from 0.1 to 48 terawatt-hours. In the following two decades, figures presented some fluctuation, dropping as low as 26 terawatt-hours in 2015, before increasing again to 43.5 TWh the following year. In 2022, Belgium's electricity generation from nuclear power stood at 43.7 terawatt-hours.
