China's state-owned oil giant Sinopec is among the largest refining companies in the world. As of its 2022 fiscal year, it reported a crude distillation capacity of approximately 4.95 million barrels per day. This put it ahead of U.S. oil company ExxonMobil, which had a daily refining capacity of 4.58 million barrels.
