Number of operating theaters in France 2017, by sector
The French medical system, either public or private, offered patients more than 7,400 operation rooms in 2015. Regional hospitals operated and maintained a total of 1,502 operating rooms, while for-profit private entities had around 3,500 rooms during that year.
