Revenue expenditure of India's government - transport and logistics by type 2018
At the end of fiscal year 2018, the budgeted estimate revenue expenditure of India's central and state governments amounted to more than 900 billion Indian rupees. The largest share out of this was for roads and bridges, amounting to more than 600 billion rupees. The revenue expenditure refers to expenditure which neither creates assets nor reduces liability.
