This statistic shows the average age in years of the West Midlands Trains rolling stock between 2007/08 and 2018/19. The average age of the, formally London Midland, trains decreased as of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2007/08 until the fourth quarter of 2009/08. The average age then increased by one year, each year between 2011/12 and 2018/19, suggesting that the composition of the rolling stock had not been changed during this period. In December 2017, London Midland was taken over by West Midlands Trains.
