Over the past decade, the mean household expenditure on small appliances and miscellaneous housewares in the United States has varied between 90 and 135 U.S. dollars. In 2020, the mean household expenditure on small home appliances and other miscellaneous housewares in the U.S. amounted to 134.73 U.S. dollars per consumer unit, the highest over the time period examined. This was again exceeded in 2021 as expenditure rose to over 140 U.S. dollars annually.
