In 2020, 350 technology-based Latin American companies (also called Tecnolatinas) born outside Brazil raised between one and 10 million U.S. dollars from capital investments, which is over four times the amount of non-Brazilian Tecnolatinas who successfully secured between 10 and 15 million U.S dollars. Meanwhile, only four companies surpassed the 500 million U.S. dollars barrier in capital investments in 2020.
