Hispanic adults were reportedly the least engaged with news covering the U.S. presidential candidates, with just 13 percent of respondents following the election news very closely. By comparison, for White Americans the share of adults paying close attention to 2020 election news amounted to 22 percent. White adults were notably more interested in following the election than respondents in other ethnic groups.
