Opinion on taste similarity of non-alcoholic and regular beer Japan 2019, by gender
According to a Rakuten Insight survey in 2019 on consumer behavior in Japan, almost 49 percent of male respondents were convinced that non-alcoholic beer does not taste as good as regular beer. For female respondents, this figure was less pronounced. About one fifth of respondents among both genders did not have a clear opinion on the matter.
