Average venture capital deal value in biotechnology in Russia 2017-2019
The value of an average venture capital investment deal in developing companies of the biotechnology sector in Russia decreased by 800 thousand U.S. dollars in the first half of 2019 compared to 12 months of 2018. With the mean deal value of 1.8 million U.S. dollars over the first six months of 2019, biotechnology's total VC investment value was recorded at approximately nine million U.S. dollars, which was lower compared to manufacturing technology and IT sectors.
