Population of Czechia by gender 1950-2020
The number of men and women in Czechia has grown at a rather similar rate over the last 65 years, with the number of women exceeding men by roughly twenty to thirty thousand at each interval. There are some cases where the populations grew or declined at different rates, particularly between 1965 and 1970 where the number of women grows by 0.3 million, whereas the number of men decreases by the same amount. Another interesting point in the graph is between 1995 and 2010, where the number of women decreases at twice the rate that the number of men does, before both jump by 110,000 and 170,000 respectively over a 5 year period.
