U.S. social media user account privacy 2018, by age group
This statistic presents the percentage of social media users in the United States who have a private social media account as of September 2018, by age group. According to the findings, 45 percent of respondents between the ages of 55 to 64 years reported that all of their social media accounts were private, while 18 percent of respondents in the same age bracket stated the opposite saying none of their social media accounts were private at all.
