Main channels for product information search in France 2022, by gender
In France, physical stores remain the preferred option for men and women to seek information about a product before purchasing it, a survey from early 2022 showed. On one hand, nearly 50 percent of French shoppers would go directly to the store to find out more details about a product. On the other hand, the use of search engines for this purpose was highest among female consumers, while price comparison services were the most popular among men.
