Share of people in the EU-27 searching for jobs online 2015-2019, by age group
In 2019, 28 percent of internet users in the European Union (EU-27) between 16 and 24 responded that they used the internet to search or apply for jobs, one percent less than in 2015. Users among the 35- to 44-year-olds used the internet for this purpose quite frequently. Users aged between 45 and 54 years were less likely to search or apply for jobs online. Least likely were people aged between 55 and 64 years old, with only seven percent responding that they used the internet as for this purpose.
