Leading FMCG retailers in Russia 2020-2021, by market share
Pyaterochka was the largest retail in the FMCG sector in Russia between April 2020 and March 2021, occupying 13 percent of total market sales. Together with Perekrestok, which ranked fourth, it belonged to X5 Retail Group, which was the leading FMCG chain and one of the largest private businesses in the country. The second leading retail store was Magnit U Doma, which accounted for 10 percent of the market, while Magnit Hypermarket and Family occupied a share of two percent.
