Disney+ launch catalog size compared to total Netflix catalog U.S. 2019
In April 2019, it was announced that Disney's new streaming service, Disney+, would include 500 movies, which is 12.5 percent of Netflix's movie library consisting of four thousand titles as of the date of survey. Equally, Disney+ will have 7,500 TV episodes of current and old TV shows, representing 16 percent of Netflix's U.S. catalog of 47 thousand.
